Numinosum Festival Regulations

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. The organizer of the festival “Numinosum Festival” (hereinafter: “Festival”) is the Foundation for the Protection of Landscape and Promotion of Regions “NUMINOSUM” with headquarters in Palmiry, Czosnów 01-052, Podleśna 19a St. entered in the National Court Register under the KRS number 0000395106, NIP 531-168-75-10
  2. The festival includes the main part, taking place from 03.10.2025-05.10.2025:
    – on the territory of the “Prześwit. Kolektywna Instytucja Kultury.” in Warsaw (39 Freta st., Warsaw, Poland) or in other locations indicated by the Organizer in the Festival program available at www.festival.numinosum.pl (hereinafter: “Program”);
  3. In addition to the main part referred to in Section 2 above, the Festival may also include accompanying events.
  4. The locations referred to in items 2 and 3 above are hereinafter referred to (collectively or each separately) as the “Festival Area”.
  5. Persons participating in the Festival are hereinafter referred to collectively as “Participants” and each individually as “Participant”.
  6. The Organizer provides these Regulations (hereinafter: “Regulations”), which define the rights and obligations of the Organizer, including its subordinate services, in connection with the conduct of the Festival, as well as the rights and obligations of the Participants, in connection with their participation in the Festival.
  7. The provisions of the Regulations are addressed primarily to Participants, but are also applicable, as appropriate, to other non-Participants present on the Festival Site during the Festival (e.g. catering staff, media representatives etc.).
  8. The entitlement of Participants to enter the Festival Area is based on their tickets (hereinafter: “Ticket”), purchased from the online store on the Festival website under the terms and conditions set forth in the rules of the online store (hereinafter: “Store Rules”). The Organizer may also authorize persons invited by the Organizer or cooperating with it to participate in the Festival. The provisions of the Regulations shall apply to such persons accordingly.
  9. Terms defined in the Regulations have the same meaning on the grounds of other regulations related to the Festival, including – the Regulations of the Store, unless the context indicates otherwise.
  10. The Festival participant is obliged to comply with the provisions of the regulations and rules applicable to individual locations within the Festival, available on their respective websites.
 

RESTRICTIONS ON BRINGING ITEMS TO THE EVENT AREA

  1. It is forbidden to bring to the Festival Area, or for Participants to possess during the Festival: weapons or other dangerous objects, explosives, pyrotechnics, fire hazardous materials, alcoholic beverages, intoxicants or psychotropic substances, with the exception of alcoholic beverages purchased at the Festival Area.
  2. It is forbidden to bring any objects that may serve to disturb the Festival or otherwise prevent or impede the smooth conduct of the Festival in accordance with the scenario, any sharp or hard, glass, metal objects or items of clothing that, upon sudden and unexpected contact with the body of another Participant, may cause damage to his or her health.


SAFETY

  1. Each Festival Participant is obliged to behave in a manner that does not jeopardize the safety of other Participants and other persons present on the Festival Area, and in particular to obey the provisions of the Regulations and applicable laws.
  2. Each Festival Participant is obliged, in case of non-observance of the Regulations, to leave the Festival Area at the request of volunteers with name tags issued by the Organizer, i.e. persons authorized by the Organizer to coordinate the course of the Festival.
 

TICKETS AND RULES OF ADMISSION TO THE FESTIVAL AREA

  1. Admission to the Festival Area is granted to a person with a registered Ticket purchased electronically, the purchase of which is confirmed by a digital code for each Ticket and an identity document. Details regarding the purchase of Tickets are set forth in the Store Regulations available below.
  2. Festival Participants between the ages of 4 and 18 take part in the Festival on the basis of their own Ticket, however, the condition for allowing such person to enter the Festival Area is to be accompanied by an adult (hereinafter: “Guardian”). The Guardian is obliged to have, and – at the request of authorized representatives of the Organizer – to present, a statement signed by him/her on responsibility for the minor.   3. In the event that a Festival Participant, attending the Festival on the basis of his/her own Ticket, is a disabled person who needs the assistance of a guardian, the guardian of the disabled person is required to have his/her own appropriate Ticket of admission to the Festival Area, authorizing him/her to accompany the disabled person.
  4. In the event of a change in the date or place of the Festival or one or more events of the Festival, the Ticket shall remain valid and have the force of law for the new date or place of the Festival.
  5. In the event of cancellation of the Festival or one or more events within the Festival, the Participant is entitled to a refund of the equivalent price of the Ticket he/she purchased. The Ticket price is a flat-rate price and is not subject to valorization. Refunds are not subject to amounts incurred by the Participant for handling fees to his/her Bank, as well as any other expenses incurred by the Participant in connection with the Festival (e.g. transportation costs and costs of stay in Warsaw).
  6. The purchased Ticket can be returned, but with deduction of 20%, not later than on the 21th calendar day before the Festival, subject to the provisions of items 4 and 5 above, hence the Organizer asks for thoughtful purchases. After that date tickets are not refundable. In accordance with applicable Polish law, purchases made via the Internet are subject to refund if the purchaser informs the seller within 14 calendar days from the conclusion of the contract. The detailed procedure for withdrawal from the sales contract is included in the Terms and Conditions of the Store.
 

HAZARD WARNINGS

  1. The Organizer informs that the Participant or any other person in the Festival Area may be exposed to a zone of very significant sound intensity, which may cause hearing damage, as well as to strobe lights and laser effects, which may cause visual ailments. Pregnant women and people with epilepsy are at particular risk. The organizer informs that during the shows there is a high level of propagation (spreading) of sound waves, to which children under the age of one are particularly vulnerable. In case of any doubt, each Participant and the persons mentioned in both sentences above should consult an appropriate medical opinion even before deciding to be at the Festival Area.
 

OTHER RESTRICTIONS

  1. It is forbidden to carry out any commercial activity, as well as to conduct fundraising or other activities (e.g. happenings, collecting signatures) at the Festival Area, during duration of the Festival, without prior written consent of the Organizer.
  2. During the Festival, it is forbidden to present any slogans and shouts provoking or inciting to disturb order and safety, that could be a source of conflict, insulting or humiliating other persons due to their sex, race, religion, age, beliefs, political views, sexual orientation, membership of any subculture, sports sympathies or any other.
 

COMPLAINTS

  1. All complaints, comments and requests in matters related to participation in the Festival can be submitted within 14 calendar days from the date of the end of the Festival, in particular in writing to the following correspondence address of the Organizer: “NUMINOSUM” Foundation for the Protection of Landscape and Promotion of Regions, Palmiry, 19a Podleśna St., 05-152 Czosnów or to the e-mail address: festival@numinosum.pl. The Organizer shall recognize complaints within 14 calendar days from the date of their delivery to the Organizer.
 

MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

  1. Alcoholic beverages may be sold, served and consumed at the Festival Area, only in places designated for this purpose. Selling and serving may be carried out only by entities with the appropriate permit, with the consent of the Organizer.
  2. The Organizer may also record the course of the Festival for documentation purposes or for advertising and promotional purposes of the Organizer or sponsors. The Organizer or the sponsor, respectively, may use such recording or its fragment, including those depicting the image of the Participant or any other person present at the Festival Area, without time and territorial limitations, without the need to pay remuneration for the use of the image, in all fields of exploitation, including the fields of exploitation specified in Article 50 of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights, in particular through its recording, multiplication, circulation and dissemination.
  3. The Regulations are available on the Festival’s website: www.festival.numinosum.pl.
  4. The Regulations, as amended, shall come into force as of the date of announcement (Warsaw, 24th of June 2025) and shall remain in force until the official termination of the Festival by the Organizer, subject to the provisions on Complaints.

The number of places available at the Festival is limited.

General Regulations of Workshops

  1. These rules and regulations apply to workshops, organized as part of the Festival. The schedule and location of workshops are specified in the Program.
  2. Only persons who are Festival Participants and have purchased a Ticket covering admission to a particular workshop are allowed to enter the area of a particular workshop. The above does not apply to persons authorized by the Organizer.
  3. On the premises of the workshops it is forbidden to:
    – bringing in and consuming alcohol and alcoholic beverages, with the exception of alcoholic beverages purchased at the Festival Area
    – taking drugs and intoxicants
    – selling any products and services
    – smoking cigarettes and e-cigarettes
  4. Tickets to the Festival or any part of the Festival are not sold on the workshop premises.
  5. On the premises of the workshop it is obligatory to observe personal culture, accepted moral and social norms.
  6. The number of places in the workshops is limited.
  7. The provisions of these Regulations do not exclude the provisions of the Festival Regulations.

Shop regulations

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

  1. These Regulations apply only to the sale of Tickets through the website: www.festival.numinosum.pl

ONLINE SALES

  1. The sale and distribution of Tickets is carried out by the Organizer of the “Numinosum Festival” – Foundation for the Protection of Landscape and Promotion of Regions “NUMINOSUM” with its registered office in Palmiry, Czosnow municipality 01-052, Podleśna Street 19a registered in the National Court Register under KRS number 0000395106, NIP 531-168-75-10.
  2. The contract of sale between the Buyer of Tickets and the Organizer is concluded when the required procedures for purchasing tickets on www.festival.numinosum.pl have been fulfilled:
    – placing an online order by the Buyer by adding selected items in the store to the shopping cart
    – provision by the Buyer of the required personal data
    – payment for the order by the Buyer via bank transfer within 7 working days from the date of receiving confirmation of the order from the Organizer (via e-mail) or via Przelewy24 company via bank transfer or bank card.
    – Receipt by the Buyer of confirmation of the transaction to the e-mail address indicated by the Buyer.
  3. Purchasing Tickets on-line implies acceptance of the Rules and Regulations, Workshop Regulations and Shop Regulations.
  4. When purchasing Tickets on-line, payments are made by bank transfer or through the Przelewy24 system.
  5. The price of the Ticket does not include the fees incurred to the Buyer by his/her Bank, including transfer costs, which are borne by the Buyer.
  6. Tickets remain the property of the Organizer until the Organizer’s bank records confirmation of receipt of funds corresponding to the total price of the Ticket selected by the Buyer.
  7. In accordance with the Ordinance of the Minister of Finance dated July 26, 2010, the sale of tickets for online ordering and payment is not subject to fiscalization, so the Buyer does not receive a fiscal receipt.
  8. Persons making payment through a foreign bank should take into account the cost of the bank intermediary, since only payment of the full price of the selected Ticket within the stipulated period guarantees the execution of the order by the Organizer.
  9. The Purchaser prints the Ticket after the Organizer confirms the execution of the order. Each Ticket is identifiable by an individual number and an individual barcode. Verification of the Ticket involves either checking the individual number or scanning the individual barcode – at the discretion of the Organizer or persons authorized by the Organizer. Additionally, the Organizer may ask the person presenting the Ticket to provide the name of the Ticket Buyer. The above provisions do not exclude the applicability of the internal regulations applicable to individual Festival locations.
  10. The Organizer reserves the right to terminate online sales at any time, without giving reasons.
  11. The Organizer is not responsible for the consequences of providing false or erroneous data in the order form.
  12. The number of tickets sold is limited.
  13. The Organizer may, but is not obliged to, also sell tickets on the Festival grounds.

WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURE

  1. In accordance with the applicable Polish law, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract of sale concluded online without giving any reason within 14 calendar days.
  2. In the case of withdrawal from the contract, the Buyer is obliged to send to the e-mail address of the Seller: festival@numinosum.pl the form of withdrawal from the contract according to the template:

  3. Within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of information about withdrawal from the contract, the entire amount paid will be returned to the Buyer via the Przelewy24 application to the bank account from which the payment was made.
  4. The Buyer may not withdraw from the sales contract if he/she has begun to use his ticket. In the case of the Festival, this is the start of the first event for which the purchased ticket is valid.

COMPLAINTS, RETURN AND EXCHANGE OF TICKETS

  1. In the event of a change in the date or place of the Festival or one or more events within the Festival, the Ticket shall remain valid and shall be effective for the new date or place of the Festival.
  2. In the event of cancellation of the Festival or one or more events within the Festival, the Participant is entitled to a refund of the equivalent price of the Ticket purchased by him. The Ticket price is a flat-rate price and is not subject to valorization. Refunds are not subject to amounts incurred by the Participant for handling fees to his/her Bank, as well as any other expenses incurred by the Participant in connection with the Festival (e.g. transportation costs and costs of stay in Warsaw).
  3. The purchased Ticket is non-exchangeable or non-refundable, subject to the provisions of the TICKETS AND ENTRY RULES section, hence the Organizer asks for thoughtful purchases.
  4. Any complaints regarding the sale of Tickets must be reported within two business days after the purchase of the Ticket, to the following email address: festival@numinosum.pl.The Organizer will consider complaints regarding the sale of Tickets within 7 calendar days from the date of receipt of the notification.
 

BUYER DATA PROTECTION

  1. The administrator of the personal data is NUMINOSUM Foundation for the Protection of Landscape and Promotion of Regions, Palmiry, 19a Podleśna St., 05-152 Czosnów.
  2. By providing data in the on-line sales system, the Buyer agrees to the storage and processing of the Buyer’s personal data by the Organizer for the purpose of completing the order, necessary contact with the Buyer and for all activities necessary for the functioning of the Ticket sales system.
  3. The storage and processing of the personal data received is carried out in accordance with the principles set forth in the Personal Data Protection Act RODO of April 27, 2016.

FINAL PROVISIONS

  1. Tickets purchased through the Festival website may not be copied, altered, scanned.
  2. The Organizer is not responsible for the functioning of the Internet network through which the purchase of Tickets by the Buyer is made. The Organizer is not responsible for messages or other data lost or misplaced on the Internet, individual computer settings and the way they are configured, as well as settings or service interruptions occurring at Internet access providers.
  3. The Organizer is not responsible for the Buyer’s loss of the code confirming the purchase of a Ticket.
  4. The Ticket purchased by the Buyer and printed out entitles the number of people indicated on the Ticket to enter the Festival, to the extent applicable.
  5. The Ticket authorizes a single entry to the events indicated therein.

The Buyer makes the Ticket available to third parties at his/her own risk.
