Ciac Boum is a trio made of three outstanding musicians, who perform traditional music to dance from the Poitou region (Mid-West France), as well as their own compositions. Christian Pacher comes himself from Poitou and grew up with these sounds that he loves for their diversity and energy. Julien Padovani and Robert Thebaut derived from improvised music, but not only.

At the concert you will hear rondeau, avant-deux, waltzes, maraîchine, bal limousine and other vigorous dance pieces. As the French say – the dance spirit makes the tips of the fingers float above the dance floor. And then the wind of freshness, joy and freedom passes over the parquet, and the old melodies give the dancers eternal youth.
Their compositions contain incredible amounts of energy and joy. So, dancers, ladies and gentlemen, watch out for yourself! We know how it starts, but how will it end…?
