Żywiołak – a band that has been a symbol of the energy and revival of the Polish folk scene for several years. The musicians use their instruments to stimulate ancient instincts, forcing the audience to dance constantly.
The name of the band Żywiołak itself reflects its essence – the elements of music and dance, the spontaneity of the musicians, the life energy in every note and every movement. The musicians are not limited by modernity, they use folk and ancient instruments to create music, e.g. the lute or the hurdy-gurdy. Before the band was 5 years old, they had already played at many festivals, including: Opener Festival (2008) and Przystanek Woodstock (2008).
