Igrce is a young Warsaw band playing balfolk music. In their work, the artists are inspired by the traditional music of different cultures while searching for diverse sounds and creating their own arrangements.

• Ania Warchoł (violin, hurdy-gurdy, vocals)
• Mateusz Piotrowski (accordion, drum, vocals)

The idea of founding the band originated during Ania and Marysia’s studies in traditional music at the Academy of Music in Katowice, and they gradually oriented themselves towards balfolk music. It gives the musicians freedom of interpretation and great joy in playing to dance, which are qualities that drive the band to develop the project. Among other things, the band has already had the opportunity to perform at the Balfolk.pl festival as part of the open stage and at the Chata Numinosum and was extremely warmly received by the dancers.
