The trio JAM.PT, founded in 2013, performs traditional dance music. Their mission is to promote Portuguese music and dance at balls and festivals of European tradition. Their great energy, eclectic repertoire and unique sound are their greatest strengths.
Their first CD, “Pim Pam Pum”, was released in 2015 and includes a repertoire inspired by dances from all over Europe, with a special emphasis on dances from the north to the south of Portugal.
The group consists of: João on violin, Abel on diatonic accordion and guitar, and Matias on cajon and percussion.
