Janusz Prusinowski Kompania are followers and continuators of village musicians – Jan Lewandowski, Kazimierz Meto, Józef Zaras, Piotr and Jan Gaca, Tadeusz Kubiak and many others – and at the same time they are an avant-garde formation with a characteristic sound and own language of improvisation.

They combine music with dance, tradition with the experience of modern times, concert tours with educational activities – in Poland and abroad (e.g. Europe, Asia, Canada, USA).
