A strong and extremely energetic quintet playing traditional dance and ritual music from Poland and the surrounding area. The group plays from old notes and own research.
Their name, Pokrzyk – derives from a wolfberry, a mysterious plant, which, according to folk medicine, when used properly, brought unusually colorful, vivid and deep dreams, (hmm…) We invite you to dance in which the whirl, patter and shouting will be mixed with drowsy melodies seasoned with peculiar folk lyrics.
